Almity plus tablet is used in the treatment of vitamin d deficiency, bone diseases in renal osteodystrophy, postmenopausal osteoporosis, predialysis and dialysis patients, hypoparathyroidism, calcium supplementation, menopausal symptoms, and osteoporosis. Almity plus tablet is used to treat and prevent low levels of calcium in the blood caused by high or low parathyroid hormone levels, rickets and osteomalacia (softening of the bones). Almity plus tablet is also used as an antacid. Almity plus tablet works by stimulating the intestinal calcium transport.
